Symmetries explores visual balance and the tension between geometric order and physical material. Each object was hand-built from precisely cut Bristol or Kapa boards and shaped into layered or three-dimensional constructions.
Placed atop a custom-built light table designed by the artist, the forms are illuminated from below. This underlighting penetrates openings and slots, creating an internal glow and projecting sharp, graphic shadows.
The result is a minimalist yet mathematically complex visual experience. The images evoke architectural frameworks, natural symmetries, and pure design principles, turning simple materials into abstract visual orchestrations.
