Celestial Bodies is a macro‑photographic series that constructs a private cosmology on the studio table. Tiny water drops placed on top of a glass plate coated with Vaseline, while colored background placed beneath the pane, shine through the liquid. The petroleum jelly distorts the surface, and the drops acts like countless miniature lenses; the droplets become stars, planets, and nebulae, while the flat sheet suddenly reads as infinite space.
